Amazon.com Review
Get the same comfort as a full-size hammock while taking up a quarter of the space with the Xchair-Indoor/Outdoor Hammock from Green Eggs and Hammocks. The Xchair's compact stand assembles without tools in minutes for easy setup. The frame is 69 inches high; 46 inches across the base, and 45 inches front to back. A powder-coated, steel frame resists rust and provides plenty of support. The soft cotton hammock feels great against the skin and is easy to slide around in when it's time to adjust position. Perfect for tight quarters, apartment balconies, and outdoor use, the Xchair offers stable and comfortable hammock comfort in two different modes. Read a book in swinging-chair mode; or, adjust the Xchair to full length mode when it's time for a cozy, castaway nap. --Brian Olson

Short review -- I'm going for a nap
By C. McGrath
I slept in hammocks for years, and have always wanted one that would fit into a house and not pull the door frames down. On Father's Day, I got my wish. The XChair does exactly what it claims. It takes no time -- and no tools -- to assemble, it's stable and robust, and the hammock adjusts from swinging chair to full length (at least for my 5' 10" frame) with a wriggle or two.
Gadgets rarely live up to their hype -- yes, Roomba, I'm talking to you -- but the XChair is everything it says it is. I'm getting one for the office...

I love this thing!
By Harvey Ramos
This is on my short list of greatest inventions, right next to the wheel and sliced bread.
Setup was super easy, I had it together in minutes. The box it came in was a bit heavy though.
I've always wanted a hammock, but never had the room for it. This one takes up just as much space as the lounge chair it replaces (maybe even a bit less). It is a definite conversation starter when you have guests over who see it for the first time.
For comfort, you really can't beat a hammock and this is no exception. Great to just sit in and relax. I actually look forward to sitting in the chair after work or on the weekends.
Like any hammock, you can't just jump into it, you have to lower yourself in. To adjust the seating angle you skooch your rearend closer to the front of the hammock for a more reclined angle, or skooch further back for a more upright angle. It really only holds one full-grown person, although maybe two kids can sit in it side by side.

quick, easy, and space saving
By B. Moffatt
All the reviews are correct. This set up in less than 10 minutes - it took longer to unpack than to set up. Its fast, needs NO tools, and easy. It takes up a small footprint so its great for small decks or a balcony area; unlike the full bed style hammocks, and has more options for how you want to sit or lie in it. One suggestion - supervise newbies or people with less agility or corrdination the first time they get in/out.
