If you ride a motorcycle, then I'll bet you've been stuck at a traffic light waiting for it to change to let you through. How about those left turn arrows? Those can really be a pain, right? Well, I share your frustration - at least I DID. Now, I use this handy little motorcycle accessory called The Traffic Light Changer and I seldom get stuck waiting for a traffic light to change for me. The Traffic Light Changer easily attaches to any motorcycle, out of sight and out of the way. Once you install one, you'll forget it's there... until you remember how tricky it used to be to get through traffic lights. Until now, the best you could hope for was that a car or truck would pull up behind you, close enough to cover the sensor and trip the light. Even some old tricks like rolling forward and back or swinging down your kick-stand won't work. Maybe you've even taken a chance on blowing the light. I discovered the hard way, even at 3AM when there's not another vehicle in sight, if there's a cop anywhere nearby, they'll nail you in a heartbeat. The judges won't listen to your excuse, either. That tactic can get mighty expensive and racks up the points on your driver's license. The Traffic Light Changer works and it works well. In fact, it works on about 80% of the buried sensors in use today. If The Traffic Light Changer doesn't always work, it's the fault of the traffic light or the sensor. Not much we can do about that, except remember where those lights are so we can avoid them. This little baby easily attaches to the underside of your motorcycle, regardless of the make or model, and makes the traffic lights see it just like they'd see a car or a truck. You can install one in minutes and, it's so easy, even a five-year-old could handle it.

Wasted money

I have tried this on 2 motorcycles:
1) A BMW F650GS where the lowest point of the frame for mounting the magnet is relatively high up
2) A Triumph Street Triple where the lowest point of the frame for mounting the magnet is pretty low

Neither with 1) nor with 2) does it help trigger unwilling traffic lights - if they didn't work before the still don't work after mounting this magnet.
Save your money for something else. Unfortunately I have not found anything that works reliably on traffic lights :(

It Helps Some of the Time

For those who don't know there are three types of traffic sencors at stop lights: infrared, weight, and magnetic. The infrared looks like a camera on top of the light's pole, the weight sencor looks like a rectangle was cut in the road with a line down its center, and the magnetic one looks like a "Q" was cut into the road.

This magnet will only ever help with magnetic sensors. It does a very good job though. Whenever I am at a magnetically triggered light, even if there are no cars, it picks up on me and changes just like it would for a car.

Lights change more quickly

Definitely noticed the traffic lights change more quickly with device; however, the one light I was hoping it would trigger does not; could be street design as works well all other lights routinely traverse. IMHO, a "nice-have"
